I came back into the room just as they were pulling up at the store. I didn't realize it had gone back but the husband said a strange thing . Something like --'just give me a minute'. Then she started counting and after a minute got out of the car and went into the store. The car seat was empty . Another strange remark was when they were sitting on the form in the garden. He said'they think they are smart but we are more smart. At least I think he said that. I could be wrong .
When the couple's car stopped (the first time, on the way from the airport) at the store, the husband/boyfriend got out and went into the store. A minute or two later, Jo (mother of baby Noah) followed him into the store. It was only when they both went back to the car that they saw that the baby had gone. Jo had enough time, before she went into the store, to take the baby out of the car, put it in some obscure place (a dark doorway, wheelie bin) and then act all innocent.
.......but in the flashback the baby seat was already empty when they stopped at the store. I can't understand that the court case appears to be happening in Scotland so they have been allowed out of Australia or she has,, no sign of the husband in the court. Only 2 more episodes to go, a lot has (hopefully) to be explained. I do hope there is a 'proper' ending
