did anyone watch in regards Universal Credit. It was a rather eye opening piece where some people have been left without any back up, seems the
Universal Credit programme still needs a lot of work.
some like the guy with the baby was horrible, in so far as his story was truly awful. I don't like this idea of paying the monies direct to the tenant, that smacks of idiocy.
because like the poor guy who had accrued 4,000 grand debt, and was about to be evicted, there seemed such a sense of outrage that someone had not intervened on his behalf.
the idea is to pay direct to the tenant and he can develop budgeting skills
about 50% havent before they are evicted for arrears.
when you transfer from one benefit to the other - you dont get paid for 2 months and this is not made up - so you start off with 2 months arrears and debts - -
