Don't like it, not a fan of EJ, so this was a non starter from the word go for me :-(

Elton gives millions of his own money every year to various charities. Yes, I know he can well afford to but he does donate to some fabulous causes.

"Your Song" has some dire lyrics:

'I sat on the roof and kicked off the moss
Well a few of the verses well they've got me quite cross'.

But it doesn't beat these truly awful lyrics from 'Life' by Des'ree:

'I don't want to see a ghost
It's the sight that I fear most
I'd rather have a piece of toast'

Such inspiration!

Pastafreak.. it brought tears to my eyes as well..

I felt it was much more in keeping with the season of goodwill rather than an advert for Elton John..

I like the sentiment behind it about how a gift shaped his life/career.

Besides that, it's one of my all time favourite songs.

I know its a bit corny but my favourite line in the song is 'How wonderful life is, now you're in the world' ;o)

i like the ad, I like Elton very much. i also like the ad for McDonalds, which has Santa, reindeers and carrots on it.

Thought it was boring when I first saw it, not totally fed up of it!

I do like KFC hen and turkey ad - but thats due to The Good, The Bad and The Ugly tune.
