Those people are amazing - I've fallen in love with Sylvia!! Such spirit and love for life. A truly happy hour of tv and the children's reaction to Alfie Boe's singing was delightful. Hope we continue to see the Lark Hill residents and the children.

I think Ken is just lovely !!
I also really enjoyed the programme. It was mentioned that at least two of the residents have carried on their friendship with 'their' child and parents. I hope some of the others will too - they all seemed to miss the children so much. A residential care home near me has school children go in regularly, can't remember if it's once a week or monthly, such a great idea.
For me that was the best programme on the box by a mile recently. I just loved it. Wonderful, truly wonderful.
I must be getting old; the pensioners seem younger every year.
I haven't watched this years yet but did watch the ones from St Monica's in 2017, and they were amazing viewing and am so glad they have spurred other communities on to try similar.

The young and the old interact beautifully, it's those in the middle who often mess it up ;-)
