I conclude that this is not a homework site
Why not read the story and answer your own homework questions?
answer to A:

The events happen at nine o clock in the evening in Bath, however the story starts in the afternoon, on a train that's going past Swindon.

I know this because the first two sentences describe the time of day and location of the scene.

"Billy Weaver had travelled down from
London on the slow afternoon train, with a
change at Swindon on the way, and by the
time he got to Bath it was about nine
o’clock in the evening"
This is your homework...tha emphasis being 'your' not ours. You really should stop attempting to get others to do it for you.
When answering the question, make sure to start your answer with the question you're being asked. for example if someone says to you what is your gender, start with my gender is... This helps when answering questions and helps the word count and the teacher to keep track of where you are .
