I never watch any soaps but last night I walked in and Mrs Clarion was watching this. I watched the remainder of the programme and thought it was unintentionally funny. A joke, really. It should be called Confrontation Street. Every scene opened with someone being aggressive to someone else. Tony Warren must be turning in his grave, as I'm sure he never visualised his idea becoming a northern "Eastenders".
No there hasn't, Hc. There was always the POSSIBILITY of confrontation, as I remember it. But last night every scene opened with someone challenging someone else. It's gonna be a l----o----n----g time before I watch it again. If ever.
That was a corker, Derek.
In real life the only time I have seen women fight is outside pubs and nightclubs - I've never seen neighbours grappling in the street when both have been sober.
I came here to see if anybody else was wondering who that person was! It seems I'm not the only one in the dark. I agree too, about Corrie getting far nastier these days. Sometimes I'm appalled at the violence shown on what is way before the so called watershed. I'm enjoying recording and watching Classic Corrie on ITV3 ..... 2 episodes daily..... the days of Jack and Vera..... marvellous.
