What chance Corbett was the son of Hastings?
What's more, it's being replaced by another top drama next week. Killing Eve :-)
Not sure I can be bothered to indulge another series. This needed a conclusion.

Bring on the next 'Killing Eve'.
I feel flat after all the anticipation, and also quite let down that we still don’t know who the under cover cop is. Not a good conclusion in my opinion.
To me it felt rushed towards the end. And I don't understand why Tina wanted to knife Gill in the Ladies' loo.
Because Tina was a wrong 'un, and didn't want Gill to spill what she knew.

To suddenly make Tina a significant character after she’s been anonymous throughout the series smacks of desperation. The writer appears to have run out of ideas. Is it cos Tina is a ginge?
I had my doubts about Tina throughout the whole of the episode.
Oh not at all, theshhhh. As Chrissa says you can look back and see all the little hints about Tina.... especially the visual ones in this episode. Not desperation at all. Clever writing and acting.
My daughter has said for weeks, that she thought it was, Gill.
We thought so too, Chrissa but then thought it could be because we didn’t like her....she was a bit slimy...... or were we being misled? Clever stuff. Nice to have something that needs all your attention..... :-)
I did enjoy it, look forward to another series.
Well, I did warn you this morning that there would be no resolution as to who H is. But think about these things before the next series:
1. Why did no-one come to Gills' rescue?
Because the person she asked was in the same room.
2. Why did the WPC try to murder Gill?
Because she got a secret signal from the person in the room.
3. Why did Gill receive immunity, when she must have known who to ask for extraction?
Because the person is DCS Patricia Charmichael.
4.But how can she be H? Because her maiden name probably begins with H.
And if any of that is correct, I'll plant fkn sawdust.
Hey ho!
:0)
Of course, 10C, there may well be another answer to your 2nd question. Why did Tina try to murder Gill? Because she was no doubt under orders that if things went threepennies up, she had to silence her.
The problem some of you seem to have is that you want everything to be wrapped up in a nice little package marked 'i's dotted and 't's crossed'. Much of what we needed to know was revealed. The rest will no doubt be revisited in future series. And, most likely, not everything will be brought to a conclusion until Mr Mercurio runs out of steam. Maybe not even then.
So, it turns out there really four H’s and three are already brown bread - I always thought that Lawyer woman was a wrong-un - I’ve also got a feeling that the Lady ACC is dodgy - you heard it here first!
No, I said that ages ago. :-)
There aren't 4 'H's, there are 4 'Caddies'. Dot Dot Dot Dot.
where does the 'best caddy' come into this? or is this another thread?
Can't help you there, Lady J. I didn't understand that crucial bit of morse code messaging...
