well I hope the remoaners watch it.
Two one hour documentaries about Brexit negotiations from the perspective of Europe. That might be more than even I can take. I’d have thought from a “remoaner” point of view it would be the converted being preached to :-)
Sounds too depressing.

"Diplomacy is the art of telling people to go to Hell in such a way that they ask for directions." Churchill.
^Oh, I like that! (Well, no I don't .... but I do).

Barnier: "I'm going to tell them brutally tomorrow that there'll be no discussion about future relationships until we've sorted out the money".

Verhofstadt: "Keep up the good work".

Same pair later:

"They'll stay".
"God, worst of all outcomes".
General laughter.

This protracted farce has been played for far too long. There must be some serious money being made somewhere.

Verhofstadt: "Olly Robbins came to see me: 'May I become a Belgian citizen?'".

Other commissars: "We've got rid of them. We kicked them out. We've finally turned them into a colony. Our plan from day one."
Having shown some of Mrs. May’s early brexit speeches, this just served as a reminder as to what an inadequate turncoat she is.
She deserves nothing but contempt.

It also showed that Guy Verhofstadt seems to be constantly eating and quaffing copious quantities of wine.

I wouldn’t mind the way the eurocrats poked fun at the British round the dinner table and in meetings if we were going to get the last laugh, but we won’t.
They’ll be ‘dining out’ on her capitulation for years to come.
