I assumed that Martin (played by Charles Dance) had managed to 'arrange' it with friends in high places. I lost the last episode towards the end when they chopped backwards and forwards between the Congo and Wales. I enjoyed it mostly but it was confusing at times.

I liked the drama, but it was all rather make believe including the impossible happy ending which allowed her to take the child home.
