Just spotted a thread about Gavin & Stacey and it occurred to me that I have never seen it. Neither have I seen Cheers or Friends or Emmerdale or Love Island or Breaking Bad or Peaky Blinders … and lots more.

I was about halfway through and the girl whose name I forget was in the dark and howling wind with a baby and I felt something awful was going to happen and thought Oh No not more misery and switched off. I'll take a look at the reviews and reconsider. It might just have been my mood on that night as I was really hooked last season.

I have to confess that some of the recent big dramas have left me wondering why people watch them. I dont get Handmaids Tale, Broadchurch, Bodyguard (I couldnt stop laughing at how absurd it was!), Killing Eve, Walking Dead (Got bored after 2 episodes)...

Anything with the word 'celebrity' in its name
Sci-fi
Anything with an estuary accent, eg Eastenders

Never watched
Only Fools ..Horses, Eastenders, Emmerdale, that soap one in Liverpool, Neighbours, TOWIE, Made in Chelsea, Real Housewives etc ad inf. No games shows eg Pointless and Clueless or whatever. 24 hrs in prison etc..

Not Call Midwife, Casualty, Hand Maids, Broadchurch, Nature Watch, Brit Got Talent, Celebrity get me out.., Dimplebody's Oceans stuff, Paul Ogrady's dogs are fun, or any prog with wild animals in it.

just a few. Only watch the big block busters eg Killing Eve or Line of duty so I can chat to people in the office.

Same goes for pop never heard anything by Beyonce, Drake, R Kelly, Rihanna, any boy or girl band. I just learn the names so I know what folk are talking about.

All of the above. Including Eastenders. Some scenes for Peaky Blinders were filmed behind Rochdale Town Hall. Don't why they thought that was suitable, but they were there a few times. As they were for a documentary about JRR Tolkien.

I could never understand how Last of The Summer Wine was on the TV for so long. It must be the least funny "comedy" show in history. The only time I remember laughing was when the three of them rolled down the road whilst sat on a sofa, which came to a stop outside a garage. The look on everyones faces really made me laugh. No dialogue involved. And I only saw that because I was in my next door neighbours house at the time. He thought it was wonderful. Poor man.
