I find it difficult at times to have a conversation where I have to watch what I am saying, that could be the reason I make so many blunders on here,
My daughter is forever saying you can’t say that dad,or that’s not said anymore,my personal opinion is that it has gone to far the other way,yes there are some things should not be said and in saying that I find that the use of the F word in every day speech has become like god bless you to an awful lot of people.

As you all know on AB I am no Psychiatrist and my knowledge of Psychology is at best basic and at worst nil, but knowing Jordy over the years, as I have although i have never met him, is that he was born in Scotland of a working class family, probably many siblings,in the 30's above average intelligence but for whatever reason did not go on to further education....

It would appear less strange if there was some context, head injuries can change how some people react and often they can lose inhibitions in social situations.

I certainly don't think any harm was intended.
Jordy I meant no offence....would you have taken any if I had asked if you had injured your foot?
I asked, and made clear it that it was a serious question, because you posted this "I find it difficult at times to have a conversation where I have to watch what I am saying, that could be the reason I make so many blunders on here,
My daughter is forever saying you can’t say that dad,or that’s not said anymore,"
This can be a subtle symptom of stroke or head injury. I have seen it in my professional life as well as in my own late Mum who was found to have several undiagnosed areas of damage in her brain when she finally was scanned.

Yes Mamy again you see the best in everyone and good for you,but we will wait for a response from Wolfgang ,if I had responded to someone’s post with that question I would have expected them to be annoyed.
Jordy, I just responded.
Jordy, I see the best where I think it is and Woof has explained well.
I lasted an hour at 'Book of Mormon' on Friday.

Eleena, much did you pay?hope it was the basic £20 would have been annoying to pay more.
I felt quite guilty as my son bought the fickets, front row 60.00 each, two tickets.
*tickets*
Jordy, I have explained why I asked my question but you haven't responded.
Question Author
No I didn’t respond as I have been giving your reply some thought, very articulate response, but sorry don’t accept that you saw more into my post than was intended,if like Mamy I saw the best in most people, but I am cynical to say the least,if someone asked me have you had a head knock or a stroke yes I would take umbrage.
You tried Woof x
not sure why? Would you be upset if you had commented that you limped a lot and I asked if you had hurt your foot?
I did Mamya.
Well it beats me how anyone would not expect Jordy to take umbrage at that one off comment without context. Yes you have now explained and garnered powerful support but honestly? If that was posted in the middle of a news thread discussion the interpretation would of course be 'are you right in the head?'. I saw it last night and that's what I thought was being asked.
Question Author
Hello prudie, yes that’s the way I saw it,then I started to doubt when Mamy responded, I thought Wolfgang’s response was well thought out, cheers
I also thought woofy's question was bizarre and i couldn't work it out as it seemed completely out of context........not like woofy.

yes, personality change can occur following head injury but it would be associated with more obvious symptoms.e.g paralysis.....but knowing Jordy over the years, that association would be a "rank outsider"......but odd things do happen.
One could even argue that woof's question was completely unlike woofy and could one suggest that woofy had a head injury.

Odd question !
ok final try. It was a thread posted where the SUBJECT of the post was that the poster was having difficulty controlling what they said in conversations and that at least one family member had noticed this.
woofy...LOL....but that SUBJECT was Jordy............OK I give in....it was a relevant question.....and you have the backing of Mamy.....how complete is that?
