As an occasional watcher of Coronation Street, I wonder if anyone can tell me what exactly the Underworld workers are actually doing in their temporary premises in the Community Centre. Reference is sometimes made to 'packing', but if that's the case, where is the underwear being made, and how does it get to the Community Centre? Wouldn't it have to be, er, packed to get there?

It is Coronation Street a 'soap opera!' not real life !!!!
The production side has temporarily been outsourced and the packing would involve unpacking the finished goods and repacking in quantities to match the orders.
^ You may just as well ask ''Why did Jack and Jill go up the Hill?' It would be equally as relavant ! It is NOT real !!!
What does a maverick organiser of a breakaway cricket series have to to with a soap opera?
Thanks,Eddie,would never had guessed.!!,NOT.
It just fills in the time.......... to bore us.
The last time I watched the programme was when a lorry crashed into the pub and there was a baby in a pram.

The answer to your question "what do they do exactly?" Is probably gossip, moan and drink tea. Ha Ha!
There is always someone who pops up to tell us its not real. Of course, we are all completely thick and need reminding often.
