I too had high hopes but its not that good. Even the lovely Sean Bean must be a tad embarrassed, although I could just listen to him talk all day long, he could read the phone book and still send me into kinks. lol! Continuity is bad, girl got whacked twice in the face by a German and not a hair out of place not even a bruise . I will watch it again as Peaker Blinders has...

I really had high hopes for this Spice but you’re right, it’s awful
I was planning on watching this at some point - do you mean awful acting/storyline or awful depressing war scenes?
I’d say storyline, hard to follow Prudie
I am not overly impressed either.
I have given up.
The Polish scenes/actors are fine, but the British actors and scenes are, yes, truly awful.
I tried to watch too but there was no continuity. So had to switch round.
Watched week one, then gave up.
It rather begs the question Spicerack - why are you watching it, and drawing the attention of others to it, if it's so awful?
I’m quite enjoying it, but probably I’m easily pleased! Don’t like the scenes with the two men, though, unnecessarily graphic I think.
They've ticked two boxes with that part of it, helly
I thought it should be quite good as in the trailers I saw, Dunkirk. However, the speed that things are portrayed is ridiculous. The main character is sacked from the Civil Service and within minutes he’s a soldier being picked up in a jeep to go off to fight.

I think I’ll keep watching but it’s playing on my credulity.

Only seems to beg the question to you, andy.
I've read plenty of negative reviews on AB. Rather begs the question of why you're having a go at me.
Can we take it you liked it?
I like it, even though it does jump around a lot.
Interesting that hellywelly finds two men in bed kissing once as "unnecessarily graphic"...yet people getting blown to pieces or shot through the head doesn't raise a comment.

Don't know about graphic. Certainly seems unnecessary to me.
Talking about the Blitzkrieg, the feisty Polish heroine, whether getting blown up or beaten up by a Nazi officer never has a lovely blond hair out of place. She'll be sleeping with a high-ranking German before too long, I reckon.

Continuity is bad, girl got whacked twice in the face by a German and not a hair out of place not even a bruise . I will watch it again as Peaker Blinders has left a hole, one more episode then that's it.
Haven't started watching but was intending to watch on catch up.

Sometimes it take a few episodes to get into a series but may not bother with this now.
Excellent entertainment and should get better.
I am actually really enjoying it
Question Author
I'll probably keep watching it. It wasn't my intention to put anyone off watching it.
