Some of the replies are unnecessary. Something is wrong, otherwise I wouldn't be asking. My programme list on Virgin does not show Countdown. At the time Countdown was on, the listing showed A Place In The Sun followed by A New Place In The Sun. Countdown was not on the list today, but the programme was on. It seems to me that someone at Virgin has made a cobblers of it.
What's a DeLorean got to do with anything?

Countdown was not showing in my listings on Virgin, but it was on TV at the usual times. As I said, the listings showed the 2 progs that I mentioned. No sign of Countdown.

That's correct. I looked at the listings, didn't see Countdown in the listings, so assumed it wasn't on, and came on here to ask if anyone knew why not. Look at the time of my OP. There's been a cock up somewhere but when I try to find out why or where, all I get is trivial replies from people that obviously don't know the answer. At this point, I still don't know why the listings didn't include Countdown, but included other programmes instead. And I don't know why CH4 would broadcast Countdown when the listings said it should be something else. Maybe someone is playing mkind games. As opposed to word games.
