Who found Benjamin’s brother and how? Benjamin had no contact with him for 17 years and no one knew he existed, but he suddenly arrived at the house. I can't recall an explanation being given.

Thanks for trying, Wolf, but that doesn't answer this question. It just says the brother turns up but doesn't say how or why.

I've watched the whole series and I don't know either.

I suspect it's one of those things that remain un explained. I find it quite frustrating that writers expect the audience to simply accept sloppy work - and failing to piece the story together properly is sloppy. I like a story to make sense. I think I'm a reincarnation of Miss Marple! ;o)

The brother just seemed to seek Benjamin out. I took it as a dramatic licence part of script. Happy to be corrected.

When you think about it the end - with him looking out of the window - was quite ambiguous.

I watched the final part tonight. What a curiously uncomfortable ending. That smile struck me as a little sinister. I'm not at all confident he's genuine .....

That's what I thought - do we really believe he loves her or has he got what he wanted - her money ? Second series in the offing ?
