Just watched tonight's Christmas offering of this. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Just what I needed, a good laugh.
Look forward to the Christmas Day offering of it too.

Hi Caran. I enjoyed it too. But I think that this one has been on before.
Glad you guys enjoy it but I have to be honest, I find it as funny as root canal surgery.
i don;t like it or him at all
Which channel was it on?
Its usually on BBC1 i think..
can't stand it !
Thanks Emmie
its pants, the soiled variety!
Caran, until your post, I'd never heard of anyone who enjoyed Mrs Brown! I've caught the odd glimpse of it and thought it was dire.
Awful waste of the licence money. Takes all sorts I guess. Actually a pal of mine loves it but I find his sense of humour sadly lacking in many other areas. Maybe it's psychological differences.
Are they still doing that audience participation thing where someone goes in a room and releases a balloon full of whatever?
Ironically Brendan O´Carroll is quite a good stand up comedian. It doesn´t make sense to me why he is in this shambles of a show.
I think it was a repeat last night, but I recorded it just in case. I love it !!
I believe last night's show was a repeat of 2018 Christmas show
Hate it.
I also think it's puerile and dire but it does take all sorts - a family member asked for the box sets for Christmas!
It is what it is.....a modern day reflection on life -bit like Shakespeare -yes some of Shakespeare's plays were just as 'purile' and bawdy and looked down on by pompous Elizabethan snobs . Personally I find it funny in parts but now the shock value has diminished and its all a bit tedious and predictable. I'll still be watching it though at Christmas.
I love it, last nights was a repeat of the Christmas 2018 special. This years special is on Christmas Day, I can't wait!
Not sure if you've put purile in commas for me APG but it is spelt puerile - please take that as a polite remark as that's what it is.
If you don't like it, you know what to do, Switch it of and let the rest of us who like it enjoy it in peace.
