none so blind that cannot see, or something like that, they got their bottoms kicked no problem and i for one
am glad.
Non so blind as those that will not see. emmie ;o}
knew it was something along those lines, it's early - brain not properly engaged.
:o} I know the feeling!
wish I'd watched that show, left wing comedians, ie nearly all of them, squirming! whats not to like.
"Katherine’s face assumed the smacked-ar*e position for the next eight hours and Shami Chakrabarti looked like she’d been ordered to send her son to the local comprehensive." - PMSL , where's diddly when you need a lefty?
The overall tone of the programme was too much for me. Unbiased is not a word in their dictionary. Much too full of sympathy for certain views and outlook. Turned it off after a bit.
I though this highlighted the nasty left nicely:
// Sophie Willan, who was actually cheered for suggesting: “The crumb of comfort is there’s a large percentage of pensioners that vote Tory.
“Five more years of cuts and cold winters, there’ll be a Labour landslide.”
A very Corbynista position to take. Trying to parade your own compassion while apparently wishing death upon anyone who dares disagree with you.//

This backs up the view of Lord Heseltine, that people who voted for Brexit have all died, and the Remainers remain (pun intended) with their wishes thwarted by those who spitefully used their democratic vote to spoil things for everyone left behind.

Of course, the fact that his lordship remains in fine and rude health, albeit with age and bitterness colouring his outpourings, seems to have escaped his notice.

The way it works is - if you die the day after a democratic vote, you will die entitled to have had your say, and influenced the country in which you live, because you are still living in it!
Given the fact that we have an ageing population, surely as one pensioner pops his or her socks, at least one will take their place
Vicasso - precisely! Those who claim that older voter preferences have unfairly skewed the referendum/election fail to realise we are all ageing & may change our views as we do so. And the proportion of older voters is increasing.
