I know no-one should judge any actress on one film alone, but I am absolutely staggered to read that SJ is the highest paid actress in the world, and heading for Oscar status yet again, and she has also been judged Tenth in a 'Most Beautiful Woman In The World' poll.
I must be seriously not seeing what everyone else sees!
Last night I watched the film Lucy, and my increasing annoyance at the ever-increasing levels of pretention in the utter tosh of this film, was distracted only by the one-dimensional acting of Ms. Johansson who delivered her forgettable lines with the skill and passion of a speak-your-weight machine, all the time looking like she had been told to smile when just shot in the back with a poison arrow.
As to her much vaunted beauty, we all are what we are, and what I see is a woman with a face that looks like it is moulded in plasticine with with a wonky nose, and mis-shapen lips.
I remain therefore mystified to this person's appeal as a giant acting talent, or a beautiful woman - anyone who disagrees, feel free to point out what I am clearly not getting when I see her on screen.

I am not sure that expressing an opinion is being 'judgmental'.
I have views on both Ms Johansson's attraction quotient as a woman, and her abilities as an actress, neither of which I am overly enamoured with.
But it is just an opinion - and as advised, other people find differently.

ich - // Funnily enough Lucy is one of the few films I’ve ever seen and I thought both it and she were very good.
A film with a plot like that will probably divide people. //
I enjoyed the premise of the film, it was the waste of Morgan Freeman, drafted in to give his throw-away role some seriously needed ballast to a sinking ship, it was the way the music volume and intensity racked up in direct correlation to the pretension of the plot line, and the increasing tendency for Ms Johannson to phone in her dialogue with entirely justified and increasing indifference as the film ground on.
