went to see it last night... cant say i rate it that much
I saw it on Friday night and loved it! Goes to show we're all different! x
I think it's excellent, in my opinion the best of the films so far!
Readers of the HP series won't really like it much cause a lot of the details were omitted, but if you don't mind shortened adapted screenplays then HP4 was -- bloody brilliant ! --, so to speak.

More action, more CGI and more good looking people - perfect combination.
my son and wife saw it and both loved it.my son is 12 and said it was the best film of the bunch so far.

Gnisy I've read the books five times or so and I still find it excellent. There are some things that I would have liked to be in there, but all in all I think they did one hell of a job considering how action packed book four is :)

I'm not trying to be cryptic I just didn't want to put spoiler warnings in this post :D

Hey kaktus, I am a reader too and I loved the fourth movie as well but I got a lot of feedback from some of my friends who also read the series and they didn't like it much because of the omissions. I said Bah, the important thing is it did well in the box office.. buahahahaha...

lol gnisy there's nothing more important than that.

To be a little more cryptic the only part I thought really was missing was the start when some people are playing quidditch :) But then that was something I had looked forward to seeing on the screen, it wasn't exactly that important.

I enjoyed the film but couldn't help feeling a little disappointed - I know the book is a big one but they missed sooooo much out to concentrate on the action.

Most of the 'main' characters had very little to say and even though the film is long, it mainly focuses on the tournament and not much else. Also, Ron 'swears' loads, as if to signal the three main characters are growing up.

It's worth seeing if you're a fan but I prefer any of the others.
