Whether you try it again is neither here nor there to me, apg. I posted this just as a heads up to people who watch it and see it for what it is - a daft, satirical caricature of the Royals that isn't supposed to be terribly well-acted. I doubt anyone who likes it expects the RSC.
Naomi I was neither seeking your approval nor your permission thank you . I was making an observation that perhaps this series has improved from the previous two offerings, and suggesting if it hasn't then one always has the 'off' button. Hope that clears things up for you.
I thought S3 Ep1 was pretty poor - the gags were lacklustre and the caricatures had lost some of their sharpness.
Ep2 was rather better, if still not up to the delights of previous series - but at least the divine Puppa is back :)
All episodes of S3 are already available on All4 (at least on the Sky version of it) - as well as the whole of S1 and S2 for any late arrivals at The Windsors' Ball - so I may indulge in another couple of episodes tonight I think.
I love Hayden Gwynne's Camilla, so devious. They're fairly up to date too, with H and M looking to leave the family,
On AB why do so many simple threads, giving a heads-up about something on TV, lead to so much nastiness? Get the Yorkshire tea out and be nice!
