I had to mute the sound, proper diatribe it is Balders
Just what is it with TV companies.

Most people are pee'd off with being confined to barracks and having their usual lifestyles crippled. So what do they show on TV? Stories of people who are similarly locked up.
We’ve all got a story about lockdown. Are we really interested in anyone else’s?

I’m pleased I’m not alone here,
I'm not sure if they're supposed to make us feel better Bobbi - they are just little glimpses into other peoples lives aren't they? Just little fictional dramas. Haven't seen tonight's but I have liked the two I have seen. I thought last night's was quite moving.

Tonight’s was the first I started to watch Rosie but it wasn’t for me
Not everyone's cup of tea I get that :-)
Barf material but if it keeps Mr and Mrs. Newcastle on Lym, Barra in Furness or Grimsby going, so be it.
Why even go there? Apart from 'Misery Hour' - aka the BBC 6pm news which I watch for about ten minutes these days, anything relating to Coronavirus is off limits in my house. I want to be entertained - not depressed. There's enough gloom around right now.
I watched an interview with Robert Glennister about his episode. His family were behind (and in front) of the camera. Whether they're enjoyable is one thing, but they're certainly made with love.

Besides, they can't be any more depressing than the soaps.
Strange really, as many people complain that Soaps often don't mention current affairs.

The alternative to these home made programmes will be endless repeats as they run out of pre recorded episodes of regular shows.
I don't watch soaps either.
they obviously think we need more dire stories, as if the news isn't bad enough. Which i have almost stopped watching, as its way too depressing.

Let’s just say it was ‘on’, I was busy doing a hard reset on a computer but the noise coming from the alleged man from Bristol , an actor and Angela Griffith was the councillor, made my ears bleed , I switched the tv off then
So depressing. Need some programmes that make us laugh!!!! Also read that when Coronation Street starts filming again they are going to have the virus there so we aren't going to be allowed to get away from it when, hopefully, things might be looking a bit brighter!!!
I saw these advertised and knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that there is no way I would be watching!
If that's so Kustard, Corrie is going to be very boring if all they are allowed to do is walk the dog and go shopping. Maybe Fresco's will become popular again.
Oh, have I missed something with Sheridan Smith in it?
