Did any one see last night's show?
My wife and I took issue at one of the contestant's answer which was given as correct. We waited to see if a correction was made at the beginning of tonight's show but thus far it has not been mentioned.
The question was, 'Which one of these is a Palindrome?'
a. RADAR
b. REORDER
c.RECORDER
d. ? I forget that one.
The lady answered b. REORDER but surely it must be RADAR isn't it?
She was told her answer was the correct one!

A palindrome being a word or phrase that reads the same backwards as well as forwards e.g. the old example 'Able was I ere I saw Elba' - the only possible answer is RADAR.

I can’t remember what the choices were now but I’m sure the ones given above are not correct. I don’t think ‘recorder’ was one of the choices. The answer the contestant gave was correct.

I watched it. Can't remember the exact answers to choose from but the question was definitely: Which word is NOT a palindrome? The contestant got it right (as did I, it was an easy question). :0)
