There's a character on The Fast Show called Rowley Birkin QC who sits in a chair with a drink and tells stories always ending in 'I'm afraid I was very, very drunk...'

Does anyone know which series this character appeared in.

I expect you can get all the series on DVD. Do you know how many series there have been?

There were three full series, each of which is available on DVD. There is also a DVD of The Last Fast Show Ever Part 1(a compilation of clips from the separate three episode finale, originally shown over Christmas 2000, and which also features Rowley Birkin), and two DVDs of live shows - The Fast Show Live and The Fast Show: The Farewell Tour.

Hi. There were three series altogether and there are also two live dvds plus there's the last fast show ever part 1 dvd which has highlights of the last three special shows made. You can buy them fairly cheap on play.com. HMV stocked a box set of the three series with the last ever show for �40 but I don't know if it's still available. I love the Fast Show. So many brilliant characters. Next February the spin-off shows Ted and Ralph, Swiss Toni and Grass are being released. Can't wait! I'll shut up now.
