on BBC i player they are showing a concert from 2007 of Gustavo Dudamel
and the Simon Bolivar youth orchestra,

it's one of the best concerts i have ever seen. I recommend it to anyone who loves
classical music, as well as the second half where they play South American
music, its a total joy to watch,

They played Shostakovich 10th Symphony first half then the
second half was riotous, with the huge orchestra enjoying the
event as much as the Prommers.

Missed this - I'll have a look on iPlayer - sounds great.

Did you see the Simon Rattle LSO concert at the weekend? The playing was stunning & the 'socially distanced' orchestra seemed to work very well in the empty RAH.

Will give it a go. When I lived in London I did on rare occasions manage to get tickets for the early stages and always enjoyed them tremendously.

Never managed that Boaty. Used to go with a friend and we could only afford to go early on. Still worth it though.

We went to The Old Time Music Hall as well. I wore my Full Dress Uniform for that.
