Wouldn't be the first time a uninspired title hid something decent either, seems fairly common. For example fbh40 is praising Gone Fishing elsewhere here.
The Bridge is probably the best series I ever seen. The other offerings of the same story were punching well above their weight IMHO. You can't beat a bit of Nordic Noir.
I'm just about to start Young Wallander, on Netflix. I'm a bit disappointed that it's in English, and I think it'll lose something because of that. But, we'll see...

I will second that. It's a tremendous series. We watched it some years ago when it was first on .... and it's every bit as good now as it was then. Interestingly, the only thing we remember about the first series was the bit at the beginning (and Mr. Chox remembers the very last scene) - just could not remember a thing about it. And now that we've started on the second series, we don't remember anything about it. So it's like watching a brand new series - all the better really. Highly recommended watching! and last October we visited Malmo and Copenhagen, so it's good to re-connect with the bridge and we've also visited the Turning Torso, which is shown in some of the episodes. Unfortunately, we didn't have an opportunity to drive over the bridge, we had to be content with a few train rides and the tracks run underneath the highway .... but it's spectacular!
