We have had threads on the act and the number of those complaining hasn't changed my view.

I think it built on the original poem well to reflect aspects of 2020.

Tbf, nobody ever sees themselves as a "snowflake". It's always rational as far as they are concerned. A bit of a pointless word. While I haven't seen it, it sounds a bit biased... and possibly not "entertainment".
But, you could probably say the same about a film that involves murder, etc. What is sensitive to some, just isn't to others.

Absolutely. I personally think that "snowflake" is just a lazy term used to degrade people with different ideals. I find the use of it more distasteful than most of the folk it's aimed at.

I didn't have to watch it, I knew what it was about from what others said and from the clip I saw and from all the complaints about it being in support of BLM which I don't support, and never will.

Well, yes, mozz.... snowflake, PC, virtue signalling, woke... etc... all used and given up by 13 years olds a long time ago. Now used by adults without an actual argument.

Since the clip was there, I watched about half of it, before terminal boredom set in.

I saw what I always see with Diversity - a large group of people throwing shapes with po-faced grimaces on their faces, and the audience randomly cheering when they actually have no idea if what they are cheering is artistically any good or not.

In my view. it was entirely mis-judged for the television audience it went out to - and the complaints appear to bear out that assessment.

... and that, my friends, tells you all you need to know about the person making the remark and (sadly) about far too many others posting rubbish on here - based on misconceptions and hearsay.

I have no sympathy for the excesses of (some) of the BLM protests - but I did watch the entire Diversity performance (not just the pot-stirring clippages) and thought it a powerful and thought-provoking piece of TV.

Each to their own, I find them as thought-provoking as a paperclip, but my point is not their performance, but the platform on which it was offered - that is where the issue lies I believe.
