Pleased to see the BBC has bitten the bullet and got rid of these three - the show had become tired a long, long time ago. Talk about money for old rope, they were all no doubt on thousands a show for a jokey parlour game. I wonder who they'll ask....
If you mean 'must watch' Anne, i totally agree. However the whole format has become tired and, imho, no matter who replaces the long-standing personalities, it will never recapture it's former allure. Over the last 4 or 5 years, i have only watched snippets of it when i have been channel-hopping.
It wouldn't take much imagination or effort for the BBC to poll its viewers and find out what they want, and just as important, who and what they would like to be booted off air.
I have known many people who could keep you laughing all night, and would jump at the chance to earn a fraction of what the so called TV funny men earn.
Alan Davies, li!e having a root canal!
Graham Norton, like watching paint dry.
You can contact the BBC with your views and ideas and if you are registered as I and no doubt millions of others are then any polls would come your way.
Word on the street is that Chris Evans, Paddy McGuinness and Desiree Burch are in the frame.
Safe pairs of hands at the top of their respective games.
Sorry, I was trying to do this with a straight face, you just know that worthy, edgy sincere types emphasising the diverse range of talent in the UK are waiting in the wings.
