This afternoon, I watched the mystery murder film, based in a radio chat show setting. I didnt understand the ending! The cafe lady fired her gun at the shows host but I never noticed what happened. Next scene is the host, back at her show. Why wasnt she killed? Hoping someone else saw it.

The film was also known as 'Radio Silence' and 'When Murder Calls' apparently. I didn't watch it but found a brief retelling of the ending here:

I presumed she died. The next scene was her, Dr Jill just starting at I guess that radio station.
