I remember the days when "Top Gear" was a motoring programme where you were given advice on motoring matters and information on new cars etc. Then Clarkson came along and reduced it to a slapstick comedy which encourages people to drive like idiots.
I was in the market for a new car to replace my Vauxhall Cavalier and was interested in the new Cavalier. Clarkeson reviewed it by saying (words to the effect of) "I don't like it, it's boring". What a pitiful excuse for a review and enough to make me realise where the programme had gone.
Found it embarrassing and unwatchable - all that scripted 'banter'. BTW, I think it was a Vauxhall Astra that Clarkson could not think of a single thing to say about, so he didn't.
Since when was the Three Sisters track in Bolton??? I'm enjoying it though, never seen Le Mans Crescent with so many parking spaces free, I was reminded of a stand off I once had with an officious parking attendant. They've demolished th'Odeon!
