Years ago, possibly 80/90's? during a weather report where they used stick on letters to denote the weather. The word FOG was on the board, and the F kept sliding down, the weather reporter uttered the imortal line "sorry about the F in fog"

Mr Boo reckons I've made this up, but I swear I saw it at the time!

Can anyone else back me up on this and put me out my misery?

Puts me in mind of when Fanny Craddock was making doughnuts on t.v

When she had finished the presenter said and I quote.

" For those of you making dougnuts this weekend I hope they all turn out like Fannies "

I nearly fell outta my chair !

A female news anchor who, the day after it was supposed to have snowed and didn't, turned to the weatherman and asked, "So Bob, where's that eight inches you promised me last night?" Not only did HE have to leave the set, but half the crew did too, because they were laughing so hard!
