Why am I being told I need to enter my pin to watch Hilary on Sky documentories ? I have put no restrictions on my viewing, as I live alone

ok just found this: To turn PIN protection on or off for pre- watershed shows: Press Home on your Sky Q remote and select Settings, then Parental. Enter your Sky TV PIN. Select Family, then PIN on pre- watershed playback. Select On to PIN-protect rated shows before the watershed, or Off to remove the need for a PIN.

You should note that, even with the parental controls disabled (as per TTT's link), you'll probably still be asked to enter your PIN occasionally. (It's a bit like sometimes being required to use chip-&-pin when you try to use a contactless debit card). It's necessary in order to ensure that Sky is fully compliant with Ofcom rules:
