Last of the Summer Wine, breakfast viewing, I think it's because I love that area, always makes me nostalgic. The later series were tedious though. I wonder what would happen today if a man was constantly trying to kiss/grope a woman on a TV programme, sadly probably not allowed yet it doesn't come over as remotely offensive, there is also a lot of what would now be very unwoke humour, luckily my woke-gene doesn't seem to work.

not sure the golgafrinchans were known for their poetry. the vogons were, but theirs was only the 3rd worst, behind the azgoths of kria (whose poet master was grunthos the flatulent) and paula nancy millstone jennings.

Blackadder has to be one of the best. I also liked OFAH, although haven't watched it in years now. Currently, House and Fleabag are possibly the only two I could watch over and over again.

I think Afterlife and Derek (after first episode) are probably worth watching, even if you don't usually like Ricky Gervais.
Never seen "Cheers", but Friends was much more entertaining than I expected.

The Big Bang Theory - can watch it over and over and often turn on to plus one to watch it over again an hour later. Know most of it by heart and often say the words out loud!

It's lovely to see 'Soap' mentioned on this thread. It was usually hidden away in the TV schedules, often being transmitted fairly late at night, so many people seem to have missed it - but it was wonderful to come home to after a night in the pub. It didn't matter if one's brain was slightly addled by booze because nothing ever made a lot of sense in 'Soap' anyway ;-)
