Am due to extend my deal or go for a new one for my sky package which is for telephone tv and broadband so am not sure what to go for. Speaking to a couple of friends give me different price ranges so anyone there could help. I am such a ditherer and do I just stay where I am

I looked at sky recently for the same but found that BT did a better offer for me. I can't get virgin so am a bit limited.
If you decide to renew your current package look up a similar package on Virgin ( or wherever). If it is cheaper, phone Sky and say you are thinking of moving to Virgin (or wherever) as they are cheaper and then (hopefully) they will negotiate you a nice new package cheaper still. If you can’t find a cheaper package, say you are sorry but you think you will have to leave Sky, as you are struggling with your current payments. They will then (hopefully) negotiate you a nice new cheaper package.
This has always worked for me.

I have just upgraded my Sky package, I've had Sky for about 10 years, broadband, landline and Sky TV (basic package), they upgraded me to Sky Q and also gave me a faster broadband service and I am paying £60 a month. Hope this helps.
