I love the Goes Wrong productions. We were due to see Magic Goes Wrong when the pandemic happened. It's certainly not for those who don't like being hit by a large brick but as far as I'm concerned, it's my level and I can't get enough. The first one, The Play That Goes Wrong was very clever.
After a few moments of watching this with me my partner declared it
'a load of rubbish'. Then she continued watching to the end laughing as much as me.
I went to see the first play - and must confess it didn't stir my humour-buds.
A poorer version of the Whitehall Farces of Brian Rix and Co in the Fifties and Sixties - very dated to me, but I guess modern generations deserve a fling.
Barry many thanks for that info. I actually think that I am entitled to my opinion as are others on here. Please note I have not made any comments about others opinions.
As one whose Mum did amateur dramatics and worked backstage too! It has me in stitches! Some ‘old live’ TV is very similar!
If you get the chance, try and see the one where the set designer gets inches and millimetres mixed up!
