When this music starts - within five seconds you will have a warm feeling of nostalgia for your childhood, or you will feel nothing at all.

This will depend entirely on your age - those who are sixty plus will develop a faraway look in their eyes and a large smile, those under will not react.

Not me...never have seen it.
And I'm well over 60...or thought I was.
Pooooor Robin. :-)
I recall watching the programme sometimes but strangely, I never liked the theme tune.
Not me I'mm afraid and I'm 70.

"The first BBC repeats began at 5:20 pm from 13 February 1967, then, beginning between BBC coverage of the Apollo 11 moon landing, 21 June – 15 September 1969 at 5:20 pm and in the Summer of 1972 at 9:30 am before coverage of the Olympics, and one last evening repeat (3 May 1973 - 26 July 1973) at 5:15 pm. The BBC also ran the serial during school summer holiday morning schedules during 1974 and 1975. The next run was on Saturdays (5 March 1977 - 28 May 1977) at 9:35 am. The last BBC repeats began on Saturday 3 April 1982 on BBC1 at 10:00 am (from part 3 the serial was incorporated into the programme Get Set for Summer hosted by Mark Curry), concluding on Saturday 26 June 1982."
Never seen this before but then I'm a 70s child.
Yeah. Remember that.
Means nothing to me and I'm mid 70in years.
I don't recognise it, Andy. Remember this one, though

Ah, yes I remember it well. First foreign film being dubbed tv program I watched.
nope don't recall that at all. im in my middle sixties.
Andy, thank you. That was great. Remember it well. (I'm 70 today!)
Poor old Robinson. Stranded without knowing his credit score!
So sad :-)
Brilliant, Andy. Loved it as a kid. And you're right about the signature tune :-))
Nope, not a clue also a 70's child. Earliest TV shows I've seen repeats of is Rawhide.
What year was this shown? If it was before 1966 then i wudve missed it as we didnt have a telly.
It was great. Around that time I read the Coral Island, Treasure Island, and of course Robinson Crusoe.
I'm 60+, and I've never heard the music or heard of the program.
I haven't even had to click play to start swaying to the theme, I recognised it from the title.
Yep I remember it, and this weird one !
I remember in one episode he breaks his knife.
But I can't remember where I put my glasses!
