sex scenes between family??

I know actors say sex scenes don't mean anything because its just acting and they're just doing their job, but i just wondered if they would do a sex scene with their sibling or even father/ mother - after all its only acting!

I suppose no production company would cast family if they knew there were to be sex scenes... but is this just common sense or a rule? anyone know if this has happened?

I'm pretty sure you would'nt get sex scenes between family members as incest is a criminal offence in most countries.

but its not incest - its acting! its simulated so not real sex. thats my point - would actors do it or would the line still feel crossed??

I'm an actress and I can confirm that I personally wouldn't have a problem acting a sex scene bc as you so rightly say that's all it is. At no time in either film or theatre do actors really have sex with one another so theoretically there should be no problem as incest doesn't come into it at all.All that being said I don't personally know of an occasion where close family member have been cast thus.

It's a strange question but it depends on the actor/actress. Some will do things that others won't do, ie nude acting.
