historic programs. Very disappointing what ever
we stuck it out and won.

Not sure why I recorded it, it's on iplayer. I must have had the wrong idea, I thought it was old documentary footage with Lucy filling in inbetween.

I think that what was said is more important than how it was said.

Personally, as a 6 year old Brixton boy witness of the Blitz I enjoyed it ( the programme !) and the original footage is top quality.

I watched it and found it very interesting, in fact I phoned my brother to tell him to watch it as he was 2 yrs old when war broke out, but I wasn't born until the war had ended.

Just watched it, I thought it was really interesting.

I thought it was very well done. I was hoping it would touch on the looting of bombed homes and businesses and the sharp rise in rape and robbery because of the blackout as these unsavoury facts are rarely mentioned.

How frightening for that fire warden on the roof to hear and see the approach of a mass of planes!

I did appreciate the short biogs showing the grown up children of the featured characters. Made it all so real

All well, thank you. Missing the son and heir as haven't seen him for a year and not much likelihood of seeing him for a few months yet. He's still in Norway and likely to be there for the foreseeable.

I thought it was very well done and frightening to realise just how bad it was. Sobering thought though how many died during the blitz (think it was around 23,000) compared to deaths from Covid.
