Ladies in waiting from some of Dr Worsley's
historic programs. Very disappointing what ever
we stuck it out and won.
I watched it and found it very interesting, in fact I phoned my brother to tell him to watch it as he was 2 yrs old when war broke out, but I wasn't born until the war had ended.
I thought it was very well done. I was hoping it would touch on the looting of bombed homes and businesses and the sharp rise in rape and robbery because of the blackout as these unsavoury facts are rarely mentioned.
All well, thank you. Missing the son and heir as haven't seen him for a year and not much likelihood of seeing him for a few months yet. He's still in Norway and likely to be there for the foreseeable.
Thank goodness for Zoom.

I thought it was very well done and frightening to realise just how bad it was. Sobering thought though how many died during the blitz (think it was around 23,000) compared to deaths from Covid.
