for fans of the show, am considering watching the other series again before hand....
I've been doing just that. The amount of missed detail I caught with a second watch was great.
Question Author
i must say that its been a long time in coming, lets hope its worth the wait.
Great. I just love this series.
Each and every series has been worth the wait so i doubt this will be any different, Emmie. Like many, i am also looking forward to it.
Question Author
so do i, bit gory at times, but excellent drama.
Question Author
its Census day on the same sunday, so must fill in the form early, lets hope the system doesn't crash. I am not going to miss the first episode of LofD that's for sure.
I'm watching the old series, I won't start watching the new one until I've recorded all the episodes then I'll watch it over a few days. Can't be doing with waiting a week between episodes
I have watched series 1-4 for the first time and loved them, but I am getting bogged down in series 5 and not liking it nearly so much. Hope series 6 is better.
5 is a bit confusing but I've rewatched it which helps.
Like Barry, I won’t watch it until I’ve recorded the whole series.
I thought series 5, while still excellent, was verging on the far fetched and I hope series 6 doesn’t continue that
I watched it throughout but got a bit bored with it towards the end of the last series. I won't be watching any more.
Question Author
will have to wait and see
All 5 series tie in together.
Question Author
they do tiggs. I might wait for the end of the series and watch it all on i player, will make up my mind soon...
I wonder to what extent the tie ins are retrospectively reworked.
I got the distinct impression that that was happening with series 5, with all that stuff about Dot Cottan and his dying Morse Code message
Question Author
no idea, have to remember what went on before...
You do need to suspend belief at times, which can be difficult what it's so apparently "real"
In series 2 (which is the one I found most confusing) how likely is it that a dangerous criminal under witness protection with a new name is going to be wandering about at large in his previous patch?
I have never see series 1, but seen the others out of order :)
Question Author
best to watch from series 1, as they do all tie in together.
