Mrs sqad said it was fantastic.
I shall watch it later this week.
It was a bit of an airport novel script.
I found the idea of burying someone alive for a joke too horrific to be entertained by it
Watching on catchup. Looks good, loved the books.
Enjoyed it. Also like the books
didnt know anything about it, will look out for it when it is on again.
Taped it and looking forward to watching it.
Dave has just gone to see if we can find a way to watch that here, Bobbie.
I started reading the book just before I found out it was to be televised. It's one of the most unputdownable books I've read.

With luck Dave will be clever enough to find it for us.... :-)
Gness, get a vpn. Then you can watch itv.
gness, I subscribe to British Television club - get Dave to google it, and I can watch Grace on ITV at the time or follow it up within a few days on Catchup - it's brilliant way to get UK tv channels that our service providers do not provide https://britishtv.club/itv/
Thanks everyone.

We actually can watch ITV live (by manual tuning on our Sky Q box) or watch via catchup on the ITV Hub using a DNS proxy to hide our location - the only snag is that we can't record either of those and so skip the adverts.

It's a bit fiddly, so I don't bother to set it up very often (most ITV content is picked up by Virgin TV here).

It does seem that in this case it hasn't been picked up yet, so I'll sort it out for us to watch on the ITV Hub.
Thanks, Sharon and Ducksie. As you can see Dave knows what he's doing for us to watch....I don't have a clue... :-(
I've recorded this but not watched yet.
Have read all the Grace books and am hoping it lives up to my expectations. Would be good if they filmed all of the series.
My excitement for the day is taking my tom cat for his annual jab. If he comes back in.
So did I. Very good story, good cast. Hope they do more of his books.
Not seen it yet, but looking forward to it. Love Peter James' 'Dead' books and a big fan of John Simm - what's not to like ...
Gness, you have another 16 in the Roy Grace series of books. Enjoy, i certainly did.
As for the tv version? Yes, quite enjoyed it. Thought John Simm made a really good fist of it and i look forward to the adaptation of the second Grace novel (Not Dead Enough) later this year.
interesting that although filmed last year, there's no visible evidence of COVID anywhere in it. just wondering why the producers did this, since covid limitations (social distancing, mask wearing, etc) are likely to be with us and a part of everyday life for years to come - escapism, maybe? or a decision to base the story definitively in a past prior to 2020?
Wouldn't expect there to be Covid in it.
The book was published about 16 years ago.
BBC catch up ?
// BBC catch up ? //

not for an ITV show, I'd have thought - unless it's already on BritBox?
