what a great actor, mostly remember him from 60's 1970's movies, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, The Quiller Memorandum, A Touch of Class etc..

Sad news, he was a fine actor - RIP George.
One of my very favourite actors - and Who's Afraid of V W one of my favourite films. All 4 actors were nominated for Oscars - the 2 women were awarded an Oscar but Richard Burton and George Segal missed out. So sorry he's gone.
Great actor - not sure if it's the right word but I would describe his (early) performances as "sardonic". Very unusual.
