Listening to some lovely music this morning, interspersed with rememberances from listeners, about both Prince Philip and their own loved ones. Very appropriate for all those suffering loss.
I actually found it a tad pathetic, calmck and had to switch off. Don't Give Up is a brilliant song, expertly sung by Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush. But it is about someone out of work, trying to find a job! Quite a few of the other songs, too, had no connection whatsoever to loss.
I listened to Absolute for a while yesterday, and they seemed to be avoiding anything that might get you bouncing.
It's the first time I have heard Bridge Over Troubled Water on that station.
