Thirty-two minutes from the end of this three-parter I could bear it no longer. I read sparkling reviews of it - and wonderful actors Sean Bran and Stephen Graham are certainly a draw - but how draggy it is. With just over half an hour left I haven’t a clue where it’s going. I suspect nowhere. Should I bother to watch the rest?

yes, I'd say so. Sean Bran is great, he looks and acts just like Sean Bean.

There are no great revelations in those last 30 mins, Naomi, and it all depends on what you were expecting to see. It is a good story, very well told and acted as you would expect from such a cast. Personally i thoroughly enjoyed it.

I always find Stephen Graham to be such a small man but was able to overcome a big black man twice the size of him, so unbelievable.

This is one of the very few dramas that has me giving 100% attention and not fiddling on laptop at the same time. I've found it riveting and thought provoking right from the start, it seems so real (and desolate). I just want to give Sean Bean a big hug.

It's easy, JJ, you get retrained every year, and size is not a show of strength or power.

I enjoyed it.

Steve Graham was voer in Hollywood and played Capone in Boardwalk Empire
and went home to West Kirby where he was beaten up in a pub....

his comment was: the townspeople cant tell between an actor and a gangster

I thought it was a pretty good study of two parallel storylines that run in opposite directions at the same time.

Jimmy McGovern’s early series of Moving On were brilliant, but the latest ones weren’t so good.

I love it. Very gritty and almost unwatchable at times, but if a programme leaves me feeling I can't wait for the next one, then that to me is a sign of a good one. Sadly, there are only 3 episodes, so final one next week.
