Shopping Channels

I bought something from qvc once, and another time from some now non existent channel. Qvc was ok.

What gets me about these shopping channels is for example one day you get a sales person gushing about a particular product saying it's the one to buy .

Then the next day the same type of product , but from a different company and being told it's the one to.buy

I've bought from Ideal World a couple of times. Most of the stuff is ok.

I get most of my skincare from QVC because their prices are much better than my brands own website

Lol jayd. Yup I’m guilty of that on eBay! I get parcels arriving that I can’t recall ordering !


Follyfancier - yes ages ago (years n years) I bought same amazing lipsticks on qvc. American brand. Quality! Can’t recall the brand tho I wish I cld. They were great

I watch Ideal World and QVC but only buy from the outlet shop.

Years ago my daughter used Liz Earle products. She bought them from Qvc because it was cheaper than Liz Earle site, so they kept saying. One day I checked it out and wrote down the price of everything she had bought including the postage. It was about +£1 different but what was heaps better the postsge was by order, not on indivual products, she saved a lot when she started using Liz Earle site. You have to be careful about that side of it all.

I bought drill bits from QVC a few years ago, I've had bits break before but these bent they were so soft, absolute rubbish.

The jewellery channel, my sister buys shedloads from them, I have had quite a few bits from their online site, they do nice handbags and other accessories too.
