Loved that Susan Boyle found a platform for her voice.
Not a show I watched other than voting for G4 and watching Susan Boyle but it was popular for a time and did no harm.
Same with BGT. I watched Stavros Flatley for strange family reasons not to be disclosed here. Bit of fun at the time and again did no harm.

I voted once for Shayne Ward because I liked his singing and he was from Manchester like me.
He seemed to give up singing and take up acting but I've no idea what he's doing these days.
He was one that won and yet just like so many others, you don't hear from them now.
