I loved the way Liz used to call him 'Jim'. She had a certain way of saying it and comedians and mimics often took her off making me laugh !

Haven't watched Corrie for........................................., well, ages. Got fed up of being mugged off by the scriptwriters and their unbelievable story lines.
Same with Emmerdale. Stopped watching after Ashley's death but was having tea at my daughter's the other day and she had it on. I noticed that Jimmy and his missus were still apparently in an on/off relationship. Her dad and Bernice were sticking their oar in - Rodders overacting like the biggest ham in the butcher's shop window, as per. Yaaawwwnnn.

I stopped watching Emmerdale after the plane crash and Eastenders after the shed blew up. Can't see me giving up on Corrie though.

I still call it Emmerdale Farm. I haven't seen it in years. Eastenders is silly at the moment and Corrie has gone down hill since the covid filmings. And what is it with Gary's half shaved head??? Ridiculous.

The old Corrie is the best ones, Alec Gilroy starving Vera and Jack out of the Rovers , didn’t like Spider though, Emily’s nephew as an eco warrior ,used to like Des Barnes but he’s been killed off recently, I saw him once in our local Chinatown , he was with a woman having a meal ( and that was after he died in Corrie) haha

Somebody asked on Facebook today, if you could make just one change to Corrie, what would it be.
I didn't say what the one thing is I would do because I knew I'd get jumped on, but I would say it here, here goes.
Probably get rid of all the characters one by one and replace them all with new.
I can't think of 1 character I would miss at the moment.
