For that lovely gentleman, Owdhammer who pulled my leg without mercy because I reminded him of Dicey Riley.

And this for a lady who became a wonderful friend for too short a time and I still miss. And because I laughed so much at her crazy adventures with the sea and its creatures. MrsO...x

That is so nice, Mamya and Tony, I can see why your mom loved that!

suitable for The Land and also for a few frenz from uni who have recently died

and let us remember Mikey
I still miss her, Bobbi. We had such fun when we met or just chatting on the phone. She was an absolute one off!
Dave once posed us together for such a daft photo outside a Whitby pub and it ended up on my huge 70th birthday card for all to see and the kids to sigh....Oh Mother!
Question Author
My memories of her is of me walking into the Freeman Hospital and giving her a hug, she knew me immediately , we laughed and chatted like we’d known one another for years xx
What a lovely thread, Bobbi.

Poor Mrs O. She can't have been very old.
She was very tall, Bobbie. I'm very short. When we first met and hugged I ended up nesting in her boobs. We didn't do it again.. :-)

Dave is also very tall. They used to tease me by holding my hands and swinging me between them like a little child. :-(
Question Author
No she wasn’t Lcg, certainly younger than me, she was laughing and joking when I went in to see her, so happy she’d had her transplant
Question Author
Yes she was a tall lady although she was seated the time I went to see her
When MrsO had her transplant Dave and I were in a cabin in the wilds of Wicklow. We had no phone signal or any sort of communication for a week. One day my phone pinged....made us both jump.
It was MrsO texting me that she'd had a transplant...then the phone died again. Only MrsO could do that!!!!
