Isn't the young actor who is now playing Max excellent? It's a very realistic storyline

He is. But hate the character change as the last Max couldn't say boo to a goose!!

It is not impossible for a very shy, introverted, placid little boy to become the teen from hell.
It happened to Simon, too.

Although I liked the other Max, I don't think he could have played the Max we are now seeing which will be quite a typical lad at this age.
I've not always liked replacements, but I think this lad will do well, he seems a good actor so far.
