Don't you think the vast majority of 'celebrities' on these quiz shows see it as a platform for promoting themselves rather than for the actual charity? There's one called something like Shappy who seemed to almost delight in getting things wrong just to get a laugh.
I don't dislike him, but he did get on my nerves keep chirping in reading options back. I'm surprised he gambled all that money he could have took for charity..
Let's hope that he makes up at least some of the money out of his own pocket but somehow I doubt it. I didn't see the programme, what charity was he playing for?
No one is forcing you to watch it. If you dislike the man, and are unimpressed with his performance, you could always watch something educational instead.
I like the programme, I like Jeremy Clarkson, I like to see if I can answer the questions and get them right. I am allowed to not like every contestant.
