Great Expectations

is on today at 2pm BBC2, for those who may not have seen it, or for those who have and want to watch it again, a great adaptation of Charles Dickens novel.

ynnafymmi i know will be watching as it's his favourite film.

its the 1946 version with John Mills, director David Lean who has created a masterful film with many great performances, not least Finlay Currie as Magwitch.

Great film, strange that the word "gay" was said a lot in it's true meaning. Unlike the abhorrent current use .
